Mitsubishi Repair: parking brake shot, mitsubishi eclipses, parking brake cable

Do you know the cost to have the emergency brake repaired?  Mine is shot, car just rolls on an incline.

Alexa: I mostly work on Mitsubishi Eclipses so my book is set up for one of them. To gain access to the parking brake cable adjuster, remove the center concole. Loosen the or tighten the adjusting nut until the desired travel is attained. Tighten the nut and put the console back in. If the parking brake cable must to replace, should it have broken or something. I would take it to a shop. If you car is not a Eclipse then go buy yourself a repair manual for your car at any parts store for around $20.00 and read up on how to fix your cable. Hope this helps and good luck..
