Mitsubishi Repair: Car Shuts down after heating up to operating range, eclispe, car shops

Question
MITISBISHI ECLISPE 1992   After I have been driving my car for about 30 to 45 minutes, once the temperature starts to rise the car will shut down completely and not not start again until it has cooled off.  I have the ECU replaced but this has not fixed the issue.  I've just noticed a relationship to temperature and when the car starts to buck then shut down.  Car shops here don't have a clue...I need help

Answer
Ken: Has anyone checked the thermostat? It could be the problem. Or inoperative water pump, restriction in cooling system, water pump drivebelt defective/out of adjustment these are ideas out of my book. Other than the thermostat. I would get that replaced and see that helps. Or there is a sensor which is called the Coolant temperture sensor, it is under the thermostat it could be weak or bad. So the computer is shutting down your car because of that sensor. Hope this helps and good luck!
