Mitsubishi Repair: Heat problem, heat problem, mitsubishi lancer

The heat in my 2003 mitsubishi lancer is not working.  At first the knob wouldnt turn to the heat side, but then I forced it to turn to heat and it still doesnt work.  What can be done?  Please help if you can, thanks in advance.

Hi Brian,

As you said your knob was being difficult in turning, your problem could be a few things. It could be the knob or the cable it controls, the door the cable controls or the heater core. I had to change my heater core on my '95 about 5 weeks ago. You may want to get a manual on your vehicle to see what it is I'm talking about. They're available at most parts stores, inexpensive and a wealth of info.
