i have a 92 stealth car tries turning over no spark replaced coil, distributor, cap, rotor still no spark looked at ECM don't see leaking capacitors checked all fuses trimming belt looked fine power locks also went out same time any ideas thanks

Shane: You say the car trying to turn over but then tells me there is not stark, so how can the car try to start? I would check your stark plug wires, you could have a short in them and so the stark is not getting to the plugs. Have you checked all the plugs to know if they are all not getting stark or just some of them. And you could have a bad computer without that leaking capacitor. Have your car coded to see if you might have a bad or weak sensor someplace. Any AutoZone will code your car for free. But yourself a repair manual at any parts store for around $20.00 and well worth the money spent. It will walk you through things to check. I like the Haynes one, as it is easier to understand. How about your battery, is it in a good shape and how about it's cables? You did not say the miles but such cars, well years wise. Start to have problems. But have the car coded and see that that tells you. Hope this helps and good luck!

Answer
Hey Shane: Get yourself a voltmeter and start with the battery working yourself all the way through your car's system till you find your problem. You could have a short in something but anyway, it will tell you if your computer is bad. But you need a repair manual on your car, it will tell you of the right readings as you check everything. Hope this helps and good luck!
