Mitsubishi Repair: TH Magna wagon tailgate stuck, magna wagon, wd40

Tailgate is stuck. Key unlocking fails to release it. Yuo hear the lock moving but the lever won't move. Can't get in through molding with the door closed. any tips?

Matt:Try putting some WD40 into the lock. Think of all the water and dirt that gets in there. You need to put the WD40 in and let it work for a bit. Then you should go buy a repair manual for your car at any parts store. It will explain how to remove that molding without breaking something and so able to get to the lock. They cost around $20.00 and well worth the money. Other wise you will have to take it to a shop. Hope this helps and look luck.
