Mitsubishi Repair: Mitsubishi eclipse, fuel pump relay, mitsubishi eclipse

Question
I have a 1992 eclipse and the other day I was driving it down the road and the engine just died.  I tryed to start it and the motor would turn over but it would not start. The next day it would start and run fine.  I would drive it for about ten miles and it would die again.  I got it back home and tried to start it about ten hours later and it wouldn't start.  Do you have any ideas what it could be?

Thanks Jeff

Answer
Jeff: Is your check engine light on? Could be a sensor or a sensor getting weak. Could be your fuel pump or your fuel pump relay. You need to get a repair manual for your car, buy one at any parts store. I tell everyone I know to get one, even if you take your car to a shop to get it fixed. You will know about your car. When it the last time you did a tune up? Replaced the air filter? How about your battery and it's cables? Does the starter turn or can you hear the fuel pump starting? If you can not fix this yourself, then you will have to take it to a shop. Hope this helps and good luck!
