Answer
Don:You need to have your car coded to see if there might be any other sensors out. AutoZone would do that for free. You need to get an repair manual for your car, can get that any parts store. It will talk you through things to check as to why the car will not start. Could be your fuel pump has gone, or even if you can hear it start when you turn the key; it might not pumping enough pressure. Could be leaking fuel injector(s), pressure regulator, fuel is not reaching the fuel rail, ignition components damp or damaged, worn spark plugs, when was the last time you did a tune up? Broken, loose or disconnected wiring in starting circuit, loose distributor is changing the timing. Broken, loose or disconnected wires at ignition coil or faulty coil. My book talks about all of those things, but if you got your own manual; you could be shown how to check each one of those. I can not walk you through all them myself. Oh could be your computer is bad too, but then getting your car coded would show that. Mitsubishi farmed their computer building out to another company, and these computers do break down with time. If you can not find the problem and it is your only car; then take it to a shop. Hope this helps and good luck!
