Mitsubishi Repair: crank angle sensor ?, crank angle sensor, crank pulley

Question
i have a 92 montero that the harmonic balancer seperated from the crank pulley, we replaced the the whole pulley with balancer, but it would never start after that. we timed it, checked for fuel, spark, and air, but somebody told me that it was the CAS causing it not to start,so without having to tow it to a shop, could you shed some light

Answer
Joseph: Sorry but I do not understand what you mean by CAS? I had a car a lot on the same order, only I replaced the waterpump but got the timing off and could not read the marks so good. So the car would not start, it took me more than three trys to get it right and then the car started. So I am thinking that you maybe did not get the timing right and so the car will not start. Or you could have a sensor out, even maybe the computer. But check your timing and make sure you have it set right. Hope this helps and good luck!
