Mitsubishi Repair: Clock display stopped working, rachel rachel, new radio

Question
I have a 2003 Eclipse. The clock display stopped working a while ago. Since it has stopped working, I have also not been able to adjust my balance/treble/bass. When I push the knob that is supposed to adjust them, nothing happens at all (it used to beep and allow me to adjust my settings). I checked the fuses, and they all seem to be okay. Other than that the stereo works fine, though. Any idea what might be wrong? Help!

Thanks,
Rachel

Answer
Rachel: I checked with a friend on your radio and he said the first thing to go on a car is the clock. You did not put down the miles on this car. So it maybe could be do to the miles. But he thought if the radio is still working then maybe you could be happy in that and just let the clock as well as the balance/trebel/bass go for now. Other wise you will have to take the car to someplace that works on radios and see what they can do for you. Might be that you will have to put in a new radio. I thought maybe there might be a recall from Mitsubishi; have you checked into that? Or you could take it back to the dealer where you bought the car and see if they can help you. Something has wore out in the radio it's self I would say, but what I have no idea. Hope this helps and good luck!
