Should the fan near the radiator always operate or does it only start to the operate when the engine gets to a hot temperature.

Tubby: Have you got a manual on your car? I tell everyone to buy one, it will give you ideas on how to fix thing. But I would check to see if you might have a relay that is stuck or bad. So that the fan does not shut off as it should be. But then I would be glad if the thing was going to stick, that it did with the fan working. I had one the other day that would not start the fan and so it blew the upper hose. Hope this helps and good luck!
