Mitsubishi Repair: 97 eclipse, autozone, fuse

I have a 1997 eclipse that keeps blowing the main engine fuse under the hood which is a 30amp fuse. I notice that when i give it gas and rev it up it blows. If i keep the rpms down it does not blow.....what can this problem be? PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME?

Al: My thought would be that you have a weak sensor someplace or a problem with your computer. Worked on an 91 Eclipse with the problem of blowing that same fuse. It turned out to be two bad sensors and a weak one but then this car has over 167,000 miles on it. So my thought would be a sensor or computer, if you have a AutoZone you could have your computer tested to see if it working right. Hope this helps and good luck!
