Mitsubishi Repair: Reverse Lights, mitsubishi lancer, autozone

I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Rally.... and my reverse lights are not working!  I have checked both bulbs and they are fine.  I have also checked the fuse and it is good too.  I was reading on this website that it might be a sensor in the transmission or on the shifter.....  But I have not had the transmission worked on!  Could it have vibrated lose or something?  Any ideas would help!  thanks!

Brigette: I will give you some ideas but wonder if you have an auto or stick? Have you checked your wires, sometimes one will come loose or something like that. If you have an AutoZone they will check your sensors for free and give you a read out. Could be a piece has broken in your shifter or transmission that controls that. It could have vibrated lose too.
