Mitsubishi Repair: Turn Signal Wont Shut Off, signal light, turn signal

A couple of days ago I was driving and made the signal to turn right.  After I turned, the turn signal wouldn't turn off.  Now, no matter if I try to indicate I am turning left or right, the car still blinks right... constantly, even when I am just driving.  I checked the fuses and nothing is blown anywhere.  The turn signal light had to be held "UP" to turn right as it no longer 'catches' when it is put up.  I haven't noticed anything else wrong either.  Any Ideas by chance?

Something has broken in your steering column. You will have either take the car to a shop or buy a book on the car to fix it yourself. I don't know the model of your car and each model is a bit different for fixing this. But also don't know how new and so with an air bag or not. If you get a book on the car, you will want the one for your car's year and model. Hope this helps, good luck!
