Mitsubishi Repair: 2002 galant wont start, spark plug wires, ecu computer

My wifes 2002 galant won't start, it'll crank like it wants to start but as soon as I press the gas it dies. It was working fine until the next morning. I checked the fuses and they all seem to be good. Any ideas? thanks

Dont press the gas trying to start it, youll just flood it and then it wont start! Its not like older car..remember its fuel injected! Let it sit for a while.. then try!! Also check the battery and make sure all spark plug wires are plugged in good! But tell you the truth it could be other things also like bad timing, misfiring, idle, a short somewhere?? You can test your battery for free at auto zone! And if you have any engine lights take it there also and run a scan on the ECU(computer)...This can help pinpoint problems!
