Mitsubishi Repair: E-Com on radio display, mitsubishi dealership, factory radio

Question
I have a 2004 Galant ES and have just upgraded the OEM cd player.

On the factory radio the display is on top of the dashboard just below the digital clock.  Now that I have an upgraded deck it gives a "E Com" display where the radio display used to be.

How can I get rid of it?

Answer
Jose,
That car is pretty new and I don't have any experience with it.  Though your owners manual may describe what that erorr message means and even how to get rid of it.  Else, contact your local Mitsubishi dealership for assistance.  Sorry I couldn't be more help.
Good luck!
