i have a 1995 mitsubishi diamante ES with automatic transmission. The first and second gear shifts whenever i first start driving. Once the enginge temperature gauge reaches the middle mark, the car drives ok with no problems.

(Tansmission slips then when engine heats up to middle mark, car runs ok)

This may be a result of low transmission fluid, dirty tranny fluid, a clogged tranny oil filter,  or even a faulty transmission control unit.  You could also have a faulty transmission temperature sensor.  You should have your transmission inspected by a Mitsubishi dealership or a qualified transmission repair shop.
