Mitsubishi Repair: TDC on Mitsi3ltr V6?, balancer shaft, compression stroke

Im getting too many conflicting instructions, how do I ensure that my Mitsubishi 3ltr v6 is on tdc on no.1 on compression stroke,or do I not need to worry so long as I make sure the three timing marks all line up?

If the timing and timing belt were set correctly before you removed the timing belt, setting all the timing marks should be ok and you shouldn't have to worry.  Though, you will also need to make sure your balancer shaft is in phase.  Else your engine may run rough if the balance belt is replaced it's not in phase.
