Mitsubishi Repair: 94 eclipse, rocker shaft, auto parts stores

Question
94 eclipse, 1.8, gs, manual

Matt again, tried all that and it was fine, but great to know so thanks, anyways i got somebody to look at it and there is a  in the rocker arm assembly right behind the oil seal, (on the assembly mount, between the cam gear and the bolt hole) that i hadn't noticed b4 and that seems to be the problem with the tapping, as far as the compression... hopefully it will build up when i change the rockerarm assembly and work itself out.

However, do you know of anywhere i can get the rocker arm assembly or even the front mount over the oil seal... I have checked junk yards, auto parts stores, and even the dealership parts counter with no luck.  Please help thank you again.

Answer
Matt,
From looking at my parts database, it looks like Mitsubishi does not sell the entire rocker assembly together.  You need to get all the parts seperately; shafts (inlet and exhaust), rocker arms, rocker shaft springs, etc.

As for the front mount over the oil seal (I believe I know what you're referring to), Mitsubishi lists that item as part of the cylinder head, and not available as a seperate part (even though it detaches completely).  So I think if you're trying to order that from the dealership, they would have to order the entire cylinder head to be able to get just that part.  You may have luck searching on eBay for a used engine or car that you could buy for parts for a couple hundred bucks.
Good luck!
