Mitsubishi Repair: Charging, eclipes, braker

Question
What could when the 80 amp alt. fuse/braker keeps blowing in a 1993 eclipes

Answer
Keith,
A blown alternator fuse can be caused by a poor ground on the alternator or a short circuit in the system.  When an alternator gets old, they can have a tendency to blow a diode and overload the fuse.  If your car is still using the original alternator, you may need a new one.  It can also be caused by having the battery improperly installed.  Have a mechanic test your alternator and battery and have them replaced if necessary.
Good luck!
