Answer
Vanessa,
It may be something as simple as a vacuum leak.  Being that you have a turbo model, you have many more vacuum lines than the average non-turbo car.  If you had not replaced your air filter, this is a good time to do so since you replaced just about every other regular maintenace item.

You can also find yourself a mechanic that won't give up after the basics items fail to remedy your problem.  Items such as the PCV valve, Idle Air Control (IAC) motor, Fast Idle Air Valve (FIAV), and EGR valve can also contribute to this problem; especially on cold starts. And if any of these items go bad, it will not throw a code, which discourages most mechanics.

Other things such as a weak battery and/or alternator can also cause this problem.  Ask your mechanic if he checked these.  Beyond that, you may be due for a timing belt change.  If your have not changed your timing belt and belt tensioner within  the last 60,000 miles, I highly recommend you have this done.  But for a timing belt job, I would suggest having the dealership do it.  They may charge a little more, but they know what they're doing and they'll do it right the first time.  Plus, the dealership mechanics will also check the items I listed off that your other mechanic may have overlooked.  If you do take your car to the dealership or another mechanic that you have confidence in, make sure you bring a copy of the itemized list of parts that your previous mechanic already replaced.  This will save the mechanic a lot of time, and you some money.
Good luck!
