Mitsubishi Repair: 97 Mitsubishi Eclipse electrical problem, mitsubishi eclipse, fuse box

Question
97 Eclipse GS 2.0L auto trans.  This has been running great all summer, but has sat for a few weeks.  I started it every ten days and was fine.  It has new starter, and I just replaced the battery.  Test light good at battery, and at starter positive when grounded to block.  I have no accessories, headlights or any power to car at all.  Have looked in fuse box and that's the limit of my knowledge.  Help.. Where should I look now?

Answer
Jimmy,
There are a couple fuses at the fuse box under the hood near the battery.  They are labeled MPI, ALT, and IGN.  If any of these are blown, they can prevent lighting and other eletrical systems from working properly.  The IGN (ignition) fusible link can be blown intentionally by the car's computer if the computer detects a problem with the fuel pump.  If the fuse all test fine, you should test the relays next.  Hopefully you'll come across the problem in one of these areas.
Good luck!
