Mitsubishi Repair: 92 eclipse loss of power, eclipse auto, coil pack

Question
I have a 92 eclipse auto 4cyl thought one of the spark plugs wasnt firing.  Replaced all four plugs and checked the wires  and still loss of power.  Going to check router cap next if this isnt it whats next?

Answer
Deb,
If you have the 1.8L engine, then check and replace your distributor cap and rotor if they look worn.  If you have the 2.0L engine in your Eclipse, that engine uses a distributorless ignition coil pack.  You can check the coil pack to make sure it's getting power to it.

It will also be a good idea to check your car's computer.  Read this article for some additional information.

If your ECU is malfunctioning, it can cause problems.  It's a good idea to have it checked out.
Good luck!
