Mitsubishi Repair: No Spark or Fuel Pump?, misubishi eclipse, angle sensor

Question
I am working on a 93 Misubishi Eclipse that has no spark. I first thought it was a fuel pump problem, because when I turn the key on I did not hear any fuel pump start up. I checked it per manuals instructions and it does run. I checked the relays and they seem to be fine. Then I noticed no spark at the plugs. The coil ohms okay. Any ideas? I would appreciate some. Thanks.

Answer
Jeff,
You should inspect your car's computer.  Read this article for further information:

If your ECU appears damaged, it can prevent your fuel pump from working and your coil from sending a spark.  Check your alternator fuse, ignition fuse and your MPI fuse near your positive battery cable to see if they are intact.  You should also check your cam angle sensor.  If that sensor is malfunctioning, it will prevent your car from starting. Because if your timing is off, your cam angle sensor will detect it, and your car's computer will not allow the car to start to prevent damage.  Inspect your timing belt to be sure it doesn't have any damage to it.
Good luck!
