Mitsubishi Repair: 2000 Eclipse dashborad speaker, dashboard panel, 3rd generation eclipse

I noticed the other day on my 2000 Eclipse 3.0 GT that my speaker that is mounted in the dashboard is blown. I know how to install a new one the problem is getting to it to remove the blown speaker how do I go about removing that speaker? and will I need any special tools? Thanks for your time

I've never had to remove the dashboard speakers in a 3rd generation Eclipse, so unfortunately I can't provide any tips.  Though I would suggest examining the side panel on each side of the dashboard.  If you can remove that, you may be able to access the speaker.  But if you can't find any easy way, you may need to remove the entire dashboard panel itself to get the speakers.
