Mitsubishi Repair: removal of rear rotors, rear rotors, mitsubishi diamante

Question
I HAVE A 2001 MITSUBISHI DIAMANTE.  I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO REMOVE THE REAR ROTORS TO HAVE THEM TURNED.  THANK YOU

Answer
Ivan,
Unfortunately, I do not answer "how do I do..." questions because they can be too involved and those answers are best left to the service manuals.  But in order to remove the rear rotors, you'll need to unhook the emergency brake cables and unbolt the caliper mounting bolts.  Then, you'll be able to lift off the calipers and slide off the rotors.

But if your rotors are stuck to the hub, you can try to use a gear puller, heating them up with a propane torch, breaking them free with a sledge hammer, or any combination of those.  When replacing or turning the rotors, you'll also want to get new brake pads.
Good luck!
