Mitsubishi Repair: 94 Mirage Belts, alternator pulley, alternator belt

Question
I have a '94 Mirage and I am trying to replace the belts.  I haven't been able to find the adjustment bolts to change the air pump belt.  Also, do I loosen the adjustment on the alternator to change that one?

The pictures and descriptions in the Chilton's Guide haven't helped so far.  Is there a better guide out there?

Answer
Chris,
I am not sure what you are referring to when you mention the "air pump" belt.  The only drive belts I'm aware of on that car are the power steering belt, air conditioning belt, and the alternator belt.  If you're in an area with strict emmissions laws, you may have a seperate air pump.  If that's the case, unfortuntaely I do not know of the belt type or tension it would take.  But from my drive belt knowledge, you would need to loosen a lock nut before you can turn the adjusting bolt/nut.  But if that belt also goes around your alternator pulley, you can try to loose the alternator belt to access it.

Other than the Chilton's manual, the only other shop manual I believe you could get would be the actual factory service manual.  You can purchase one of those from any dealership.
Good luck!
