Mitsubishi Repair: Engine Start, cylinoid, distributor pack

Question
Hey Anthony,
Yet again Im at a stump with the 95 Eclipse GS 5 speed. I cant get the engine to start. When I turn the Key nothing at all you cant even hear the cylinoid on the starter.. no power to engine at all. Only gauges, lights and radio comes on. Now heres the weird thing...I have BRAND NEW Battery, Starter, plugs, wires, distributor pack, park/neutral switch. What other reason will the engine not get power and starter gets no power? ALL ITEMS ARE BRAND NEW!! Is there a relay? Also there are NO ENGINE CODES DISPLAYED! Only reading 55.... I recently had a Alarm system installed , and the system has a starter kill in it..called place where installed and they said this could have been bad module. Is this true? what electrical systems do alarms tap in to....?  Thanks for you time Anthony
..your tips and advice have saved me money..Its greatly appreciated!

Answer
Tony,
All alarm systems are a little different and are installed differently per manufacturers instructions. But all tap in some way to your ignition harness under your steering column.  There's a good chance your new alarm system kill starter module is bad, or the alarm itself was improperly installed.

I would recommend either having your car towed back to the place that installed your alarm, or call them up and ask them if there is a starter bypass or override on the system so you can at least get it started.
Good luck!
