Mitsubishi Repair: mirage wont start, mitsubishi mirage, first signs

Hi

I have a 1992 mitsubishi mirage 1.5 that wont start.
There is no spark coming to any of the plugs, there is +12 v coming to the coil but no 0v.
What would the next best thing to check?

Andy,
You should have your timing checked.  Also check your ditributor cap, rotor, and the ignition distributor itself.  And if the ignition coil check out ok (does not seem damaged), you should have your car's computer examined.  Read this article for further information:

If your ECU is malfunctioning, starting and idling problems are the first signs.  Since it controls the signals (voltage) that gets sent to your ignition coil, a bad ECU will cause bad readings.  Have those items checked and hopefully you'll find the cause of your problem.
