Mitsubishi Repair: Engine, mitsubishi eclipse, salvage yard

I have a '90 Mitsubishi Eclipse, 2.0L, GS, manual. I wanted to know if an engine that was in an automatic can be put in a manual?

This is possible, but definitely not practical.  It's not an easy swap, and lots of modification would be required.  It may cost more to modify it to get it to work than just getting an engine from a matching car, or simply getting a rebuilt engine from a salvage yard.
