Mitsubishi Repair: orange light that looks like radiator, windshield wiper fluid, mitsubishi eclipse

Question
1993 mitsubishi eclipse 16 valve, the orange light on the display window stays on and i'm wondering why.  I've filled up the windshield wiper fluid in front and back, filled coolant to radiator.  Can you give me some suggestions

Answer
Anthony,
I believe that orange light you're referring to is with your overflow tank sensor.  Check your overflow tank; located next to your air filter.  Check the fluid level in it.  If it's low, fill it to the appropriate level.

I believe the sensor for it located at the bottom of the overflow tank.  I would recommend removing the entire overflow tank and cleaning it out.  Over time, dirty coolant will collect at the bottom of the overflow bottle and lots of rust can form and cause faulty sensor readings.  Pull the tank, and clean it out thoroughly with your garden hose.  Keep flushing it until it's completely clean and no rust is coming out.  Then hook it back up and see if that light remains on.
Good luck!
