Mitsubishi Repair: Engine or transmission problem, o2 sensors, vacuum lines

Question
I had my transmission flushed and now I am having engine problems.  The engine doesn't seem to be idling right. It shakes and takes off really hard.  I got a check engine light after having the flush done and I took it to the dealership.  When I got there they said I needed a "major tune-up".  So I had it done and I drove fine for a while, but now I am having the same problem again and when I stopped the car to look under the hood it just shut off.  I don't know if the flushing did somthing to my car or did it bring an engine problem to light.  I have a 2001 mirage with 50000 miles on it please help. Thank-you in advance.

Answer
Hi Sandra

First off i would return the car to the dealership why they didn't look over the car while they was working on it,I would have o2 sensors checked and the vacuum lines as well they could be leaking or broken or the fuel filter could be clogged.  I dont think getting the transmission flushed would have something to do with that the dealer may have to do a scan test to trace down the problem .
