Mitsubishi Repair: 92 mistubishi eclipse 2.0 auto. transmission control, auto salvage yards, auto tranny

I was wondering if you may know if I can find a transmission control censor I do beleive it's called, from anywhere besides the dealership?

Any specific sensors can really only be found at the dealership.  But you may want to consider calling around to your local auto salvage yards.  If they have an Eclipse that matches yours, odds are any of the sensor will be available too.  The 92 Eclipse 2.0 auto. tranny is the same between the years 92-94.  Also, a 92-94 Eagle Talon and 92-93 Plymouth Laser is also the same car.  Parts from any of those cars will work on yours.  

If you can't find any of those models at your auto salvage yards, you can search around on the internet for possible distributors.  Ebay is an excellent site for searching for used parts.  Be sure to search on that site as well.
