Mitsubishi Repair: 2000 montero sport, paint scraper, rubber mallet

Question
having troble taking the oil pan off.

Answer
Teddy,
Once you've removed any support braces, suspension, or exhaust componenets that may be in the way, and you've removed all the bolts holding the pan on, you'll want to try to wedge a thin paint scraper between the pan and the block.  That can help break the seal.  Don't use a screw driver or crowbar, since those could damage your oil pan lip and/or block.  Also, if you have a wooden or rubber mallet, try hitting the pan from all directions until it breaks free.  Oil pans are tough to remove, even with a worn seal.  But keep at it, and you should get it off.
Good luck!
