where is the transmission computer located on a 1993 Mitsibushi Diamante LS, and what does it look like? Can't find one anywhere on the internet. Can you help?

The transaxle control unit (TCU) is located under the middle of your dashboard, near your firewall.  You may have to remove your side kick panels, or may even need to remove your radio to access it.  It simple looks like a small metal box, with lots of wires going into it.

If you're looking for one, you can do an internet search for 'TCU' or 'transaxle control unit', or even 'transmission control unit'.  Here are a few sites you may have luck finding a rebuilt TCU:
