Mitsubishi Repair: Horn, mitsubishi eclipse, sterring wheel

Question
My husband just bought a 1992 Mitsubishi Eclipse manual.  The horn made a bleeping noise when he first tried it, but now it won't do anything.  He checked all the fuses and they are fine.  He bought a new horn, but can't find the old one so he he can replace it. So I guess my question is where is it? Or is there something else he should check first?
Thank You.

Answer
Tammy,
I believe your car has a dual type horn system  There are horns located behind your headlight assemblies on both sides of your car.  So, you'll need to remove the front side blinker lights, the headlights, and the foglight and bracket on the drives side.  This will make it much easier to access the brackets holding the horns on.   The horn is pretty simple, so there's little to check.  There's a switch (located on the sterring wheel), a fuse, and the horns themselves.
Good luck!
