Mitsubishi Repair: dodhe stealth engine dying while driving, dodge stealth, engine shutdown

92 dodge stealth es v6 dohc no turbo auto
vehicle had high idle in park and neutral, normal
in drive. engine died while driving, wouldn't
restart. towed to dealer, left overnite. started
next morning with no service performed. they could
not find cause of problem. drove home all right
40 miles. two days later died again on road going to
work. towed home again, restarted next morning.
but now it will not start at all.
can you give any suggestion what could be wrong?
no problems prior to this.

Your problem may be with your fuel pump.  You didn't indicate what the dealer mechanics checked out on it, but they may have checked your fuel pump and pump relay.  If you don't have a list of the items they checked, it's good to get that list so you can be sure of what was done, and what else could be looked at.

If your ECU is faulty, a common result is inability to start, idling problems, and even complete engine shutdown.  Have your ECU inspected and replaced if necessary.
