Mitsubishi Repair: car stalls however it will start again, fuel injection cleaner, mitsubishi mirage

My name is Larry my friend has a "99" Mitsubishi Mirage lately it has been stalling while driving and is able to start the vehicle back up with no problem.sometimes it will stall several times in a day and sometimes it will only stall once or twice in a day.What is the problem?My friend bought the car used dont know maintainance history

Hi Larry,

Ask your friend when he bought this car if he knows how long since the fuel filter was changed from the previous owner?Sounds like the problem there and it wouldn't hurt to add fuel injection cleaner onced replaced and fill the gas up completely with the additive that should help.If it continues let me know and i'll do some research on this car and let you know what are the causes of this..
