Mitsubishi Repair: HELP!!, mitsubishi galant, lifetime warranty

I need to know about how much would an altenator  would be for an 89 Mitsubishi Galant LS. And could it be a timing belt if it is making a ticking noise. And I just put a new power steering belt on it and the sound is coming from the motor. So can you help me?

Most alternator pricing on a galant is usually between $89.00-114.00 depends where you buy it from and it's best if you get the lifetime warranty that way if it goes out while you still own this car the warranty replaces the alternator no charge to you. The ticking noise you are hearing is more then likley the lifters knocking which is a sign of wear and need replacing,Nothing major really every car will go through this but it is kinda expensive for a import.hope this helps
