Mitsubishi Repair: Idler Control, mitsubishi dealership, mitsubshi

Question
My 2002 Mitsubshi Montero just stopped today and I'm thinking its the idel control that is the problem because the vehicle just cranks and cranks but not start. I also had the vehicle checked out by a Auto Zone computer and they indicated the fuel/idel control was inoperative and I would need to replace. Can you help with the part number and price for the fuel control switch.

Answer
Andrew,
Unfortunately, I do have a pricing guide or part numbers for your particular vehichle.  The only price I can really give you an idea on is the Idle Speed Control unit.  That retails for $350.  However, you can call any Mitsubishi dealership (ask for the parts department) and they can give you all prices and part numbers that you need.

Depending on your mileage, any part you need may still fall under the warranty.  Be sure to ask the dealership if these parts and labor are covered under your warranty.
Good luck!
