Mitsubishi Repair: 1995 Mits. Eclipse RS 4cyl, oil pressure sending unit, oil filter housing

My oil light was sort of blinking on and off. Now it seems to stay on.  How can I fix this problem?  Thanks in advance for your advice.

Check to make sure you have enough oil.  With the engine cooled, check the dip stick to be sure you have enough.  If you have plenty of oil and you're not leaking any, then you may have a problem with your oil pressure sending unit.  This is located on the oil filter housing.  Over time, the wiring can become worn and even break off.  You may either need a new sending unit, or you may just need to have the wiring cleaned and re-attached.  Most any mechanic can check and repair your wiring.
