Mitsubishi Repair: mitsubishi eclipse, mitsubishi eclipse, headlight assemblies

Question
I have a 99 eclipse rs, i recently ran over a sign because the brakes locked up.  There is a plastic sheet at the bottom of the headlight that, when pressure was put on the light buckled up and now obstructs the path of light.  It seems simple, but i can't figure out how to take off the light cover.  I took off all the clips and am in the process of taking off the front bumper to see if i missed anything.  I have a Chilton's repair manual but it doesn't have anything about the lights in it.  I've looked everywhere to find out how to take off the cover, but haven't found anything.  I'm sure it's something simple, but if you happen to know, give me a shout, I'd be very grateful.

Answer
Garrett,
I don't have much experience with body part removal for the later Eclipses.  Though I know the sealed bean headlights can be real difficult to remove.  It's usually an entire assembly, and must be removed as one entire piece.  Car makers are doing this now adays to prevent moisture from building up inside the headlight assemblies.  You may be able to see how it's attachmed better when you remove the bumper.  Just be real careful after you've remove the assembly.  Those parts are not cheap to replace. Sorry I couldn't be more of a help.
Good luck!
