Mitsubishi Repair: find a sensor, camshaft position sensor, camshaft sensor

I have a 2000 mistsubishi mirage 1.8L. I am trying to locate the camshaft sensor so that i can replace it

I believe your camshaft position sensor is located near the side of your valve cover.  I'm not exactly sure of the side because I think Mitsubishi moved on that year's engine from previous years.  But the sensor is relatively large, and when you get your replacement sensor, you'll see exactly what it looks like.  That will help you find it.
