Hi Anthony how do I reset computer please?My v6 3Litre Mitsubishi Verada 92 is doing strange things like stopping after 20min driving or refusing to start when cold intermittently always engine warning light comes on when problems occur

The easiest way to reset your computer is to disconnect the negative battery cable for a couple minutes, then reconnect it.  That will reset the comupter.  But if there is really a problem, the ECU (car's computer) will catch it and cause your check engine light to come on again.  Your problem may be something in your ignition system; such as the spark plugs, plug wires, distributor/ignition coil pack, or wiring harness.
