Motorcycle Repair: 2003 BUELL LIGHTING, buell lighting, torque wrench

HI I AM TRYING TO REPLACE MY TIMING CASE FOR 2003 BUELLING THE CASE I BOUGHT DID COME WITH A BRAND NEW GASKET WHEN REPLACEING THAT I DO NOT NEED AND OIL IN THE CASE CORRECT ? I HAVE BEEN TOLD MIX INFORMATION AND WANT TO MAKE SURE I AM DOING THIS CORRECTLY PLEASE LET ME KNOW THANKS

Hi Brandon,

Not sure if I understand the question so
I will say that make sure the gasket is clean
and in good shape. Oil or lightly grease your
bushings, shafts, gears.

Install the cover and tighten the screws evenly
unless you have a small torque wrench
tighten to about 7 ft/lbs.

Check your oil level later after the bike has run
for a minute or two and fill if needed.
