Hi Bill, I would like to paint my engine the correct aluminum color and what hi temp paint can I use for the cyl. Gary

Gary, the original castings for the crankcase and cylinder/head are all as-cast aluminum. The clutch covers and dyno covers can be painted with Duplicolor's engine paints from auto parts stores. I use the "cast coat" a lot. Their "aluminum" is kind of on the shiny side, but might work for you. I don't recommend doing bead/sand blasting of the parts, which roughs up the original finishes.
