Answer
Luke, the float in the carb isnt shutting off the fuel properly. Pull the carb off and remove the bowl and pull the float pin and float assembly. Make sure there isnt any dirt or debris on the brass seat. Also check the float needle as the rubber tip should be soft and no wear marks around the tip. Also check the top side of the needle and see if the spring loaded plunger isnt sticking. put the float back in place and hold the carb up side ways with the float hinge up and the float hanging down. The float should be parallel with the bottom on the carb top. Do not invert the carb upside down as the weight of the float will push the spring loaded pin in on the needle and give you a false measurement. One the float is set put the bowl back on and install the carb and try again.
