Questionhi, i've just bought a new coil for my 1980 250 honda superdream,
the old one has two wires one green the other yellow going to the cdi unit, the new one has one black and one black/white,and i don't know which colour goes to which, i would be pleased if you could help, thankyou.

On Honda coils, the black wires are generally hot/12v/power and a black/white wire goes to the CDI or ignition trigger source. Best guess is that dark green=black and yellow = black/white.
Normally, the have male/female connectors to keep from switching the polarity incorrectly.
We don't have that model here.
