QUESTION: No it does not.  I have had no trouble with this machine since I have owned it except for this problem.  I purchased brand new.  It has always done this.

Thank you.

ANSWER: there are so many things that can be causing this its going to be hard to put a finger on it. First you would have to determine if its a fuel or an electrical problem. You could have an intermediate fuel pump problem or a throttle position senser. On the electrical side it could be the ECM itself. Not changing the timing. The bank angle senser could have a short.
I think, if it were me, I would take it in and have a diagnosis run un it. That is about the only way you are going to determine what the problem is

QUESTION: took bike to H.D shop...said it was running to lean, but said they could tke care of it by putting on dyno for $885 including tax..still think i need piggyback efi fuel system!

Answer
For the 885 they will be installing a download to your ECM. This is the same as installing a piggyback fuel system. You can buy and install your own a little cheaper, but without a dyno you dont know how well if functioning.
