Motorcycle Repair: 2007 HARLEY NIGHTSTER 1200, clutch lever, clutch cable

QUESTION: HELLO.  I AM HAVING A ISSUE WITH MY WIFE CLUTCH ENGAGING .  THE PROBLEM STARTED ABOUT A WEEK AGO WITH IT NOT GOING INTO NEUTRAL HAS EASY AS BEFORE. IT IS NOT HAVING TROUBLE SWITCHING GEARS AND WHEN YOU HAVE THE CLUTCH IN AT IDLE IF YOU ARE NOT HOLDING THE BREAKS IT WANTS TO TAKE OFF .  I HAVE CHECKED ALL OF THE FLUIDS AND THEY SEEM TO BE FINE .  I AM NOT SURE IF THERE IS AIR IN THE LINES OR WHERE TO GO FROM HERE .  PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK

ANSWER: How much play is in the clutch lever? have you tried to adjust the clutch?

QUESTION: There isn't very much play and we have adjusted the clutch seem to. Help a little but stiil slipping

Answer
Loosen the adjustment in the clutch cable and then adjust the clutch itself. then adjust the cable so you have about 1/8 inch play in it. If your still having it pull then your going to have to inspect the clutch plates for wear
