Motorcycle Repair: tune up, filter replacements, grease fittings

Question
Hello. thanks for you advice in the past.
84 nighthawk 750 S  new plugs, wires, carbs cleaned,balanced....
what else needs to be done  for a tune up ? no points, condenser, timing to be set....
thanks, Frank

Answer
Frank, glad to help out.

You might consider fluid change in the final drive and grease the splines on the rear hub. Change the brake fluid in the master cylinders. Flush the fork fluid. Oil/air filter replacements and lube any suspension points that have grease fittings. Oil up the lever pivots for easy lever action, too.

An owner's manual will have maintenance charts in it. Or check Nighthawk forums on-line.

Go riding!
